Some people are simply bad
As kids, we had to get used to company. Teachers assigned us our classmates, neighbours our peers. We did not know them and had nothing in common with them. Yet we learned how to get along, get close, make friends with them. Often we had to. Our parents explained to us that we had to get along with everyone who crossed our path. That it would also be like this in life. They dictated to us who were appropriate friends for us, and who were not.
Those times ended long ago. Not everybody who once crossed our path belongs in our entire life. We have to learn to move away from those who cause bad feelings, and to surround ourselves with those who make us happy. We are not all cut from the same cloth. Sometimes it may initially appear tasty, but even a nice looking morsel is confirmed only after tasting. Or after it is eventually digested in the stomach. We are not children anymore, to maintain at all costs, under threat of a beating, a relationship which does not benefit us. Let’s learn to find the right people to revitalise, encourage and inspire us. Thanks to them, we will improve our own lives.
If you have a problem in choosing people, don’t worry, you will learn how to choose people.
